Baby Reid!

My oldest friend Jennifer ( we met when she was 5 and i was 6, on the playground at daycare) had a precious baby last Sunday morning. I have had the pleasure of coming to Texas to help she and her husband JR with this precious bundle! He is so sweet and loves to cuddle! I will post more pictures later but here is one of him resting right now :)

Baseball Baby Shower

Today we had a baby shower for Kristin, one of my closest friends. We have known each other since high school and were roommates in college. She is due in August with her second baby, and this time it is a boy! We are all very excited!
Her husband Donnie is a huge Braves fan, he also has played a lot of baseball himself so this baby was showered with EVERYTHING baseball :) We even had ballpark themed food including hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, and cracker jacks! It was a lot of fun, and I am so excited to meet baby boy Sharp!

Weekend trip to Carmel, Indiana

Meghan had two wedding showers in Indianapolis and we were fortunate enough to be able to make the trip up for the weekend. We had a blast! It was also a great chance for the boys to see Meghan and David, so we couldn't pass it up! (Note I have blogged three times today so make sure you check them all out!)

Maine

Cyril and I went to Maine a couple weeks ago, just the two of us. We had a great time, it is absolutely beautiful there. Our first stop was Portland where we went to the Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum, went whale watching (only saw the back of a Finback whale, and I missed most of it with my camera), and ate lobster, lobster and more lobster! Then on our way to Kennebunkport we took the scenic route, stopping at a couple lighthouses along the way. While in Kennebunkport we stayed at an amazing bed and breakfast where we had a three course breakfast every day, as well as hot chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. While in Kennebunkport we collected beautiful rocks on the beach, walked around the small town and into all of the shops, enjoyed more lobster as well as Maine ice cream, saw where the Bush's summer home is, and saw them getting ready for H.W.'s 88th birthday celebration. It was a quick trip, but long enough because we sure missed our boys! They were in great hands with our parents though, and we are so thankful they were willing to keep them (especially since Tommy still doesn't sleep through the night)! (Note, I have blogged three times today so  make sure you check them all out!)
