Officially Outnumbered: Maine

Cyril and I went to Maine a couple weeks ago, just the two of us. We had a great time, it is absolutely beautiful there. Our first stop was Portland where we went to the Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum, went whale watching (only saw the back of a Finback whale, and I missed most of it with my camera), and ate lobster, lobster and more lobster! Then on our way to Kennebunkport we took the scenic route, stopping at a couple lighthouses along the way. While in Kennebunkport we stayed at an amazing bed and breakfast where we had a three course breakfast every day, as well as hot chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. While in Kennebunkport we collected beautiful rocks on the beach, walked around the small town and into all of the shops, enjoyed more lobster as well as Maine ice cream, saw where the Bush's summer home is, and saw them getting ready for H.W.'s 88th birthday celebration. It was a quick trip, but long enough because we sure missed our boys! They were in great hands with our parents though, and we are so thankful they were willing to keep them (especially since Tommy still doesn't sleep through the night)!
